The CESynergy project continues to advance its mission of connecting circular economy principles with the ongoing energy transition, fostering education and innovation across Europe.

Our second consortium meeting took place in Türkiye, graciously hosted by Gebze Technical University. The gathering brought together all project partners — Silesian University of Technology, Instituto Superior Técnico (University of Lisbon), University of Bremen – Institute of Technology and Education, Training2000, and Innowo — to review progress, exchange ideas, and plan the next steps in developing innovative educational resources that support sustainable energy practices.

Under the leadership of the Silesian University of Technology, the consortium is working collaboratively to create a comprehensive learning framework that will empower students, educators, and professionals to understand and apply circular economy strategies within the context of the green energy transition.

During the meeting, partners focused on advancing the project’s core outputs, including:

  • An open-access e-learning course on Circular Economy Pathways for the Energy Transition,

  • A digital knowledge compendium for academia and industry,

  • And innovative teaching methodologies promoting sustainability, systems thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our hosts at Gebze Technical University for their warm hospitality and excellent organization, as well as to all partners for their dedication and expertise.

Together, through collaboration between institutions from Poland, Germany, Portugal, Italy, and Türkiye, we continue to nurture the next generation of engineers, educators, and decision-makers who will shape the future of circular and sustainable energy systems.
