CESynergy Presented at the Record-Breaking EPAE 2025 Conference

The CESynergy project was proudly showcased at this year’s EPAE Conference, which concluded with remarkable success and the highest attendance in its history. The event brought together over 600 registered participants representing around 30 nationalities, strengthening its position as one of the largest conferences of its kind in Europe — and increasingly, worldwide.

As Chair of the Organizing Committee, Prof. Krzysztof Pikoń from the Silesian University of Technology, our project partner, highlighted the importance of circularity in the energy transition during his keynote lecture. Drawing on insights from CESynergy, he presented how circular economy principles are shaping future energy systems and supporting Europe’s transformation towards sustainability.

This year’s conference introduced a renewed format, creating an inspiring environment for young researchers, expanding its scientific programme, and offering dedicated spaces for the dissemination of project results. High-level discussions addressed the role of Artificial Intelligence in research, challenges of regional economic transformation, and innovations emerging from international collaboration.

Intercultural activities, exhibitions of student project work, and presentations by Student Research Groups added a dynamic and creative dimension to the event.
